60th Anniversary Event - The Stepping Stones Project - creating & linking wildlife friendly spaces
05 July 2022, 19:00 (Add to calendar)
Stepping Stones is a landscape-scale nature conservation project covering more than 200km² in the south Shropshire Hills. The project has arisen from the belief that to protect wildlife we need ‘more, bigger, better, and joined’ nature reserves, set within a wider landscape that is more wildlife friendly.
Join Stepping Stones Project Officer Charlie Bell for an insightful evening talk about how the project is working with community groups, volunteers and local landowners to create and link wildlife-friendly habitat between the Long Mynd and the Stiperstones.
The talk will begin at 7.30pm (7pm for refreshments) and last for approximately 1 hour with Q&A. We welcome a donation of £3 per person attending but this is optional. Donations support ongoing wildlife habitat conservation and each attendee will receive a free pack of wildflower seeds as well as refreshments available.
