Fire lighting & campfire cooking @ Woodlane nature reserve
31 July 2018, 10:30 - 12:00 (Add to calendar)
Ignite the spark! Kick the school holidays off in style with this fun, safe session in fire lighting and Bushcraft for kids aged 6-11years
Our popular fire lighting events, teach children all about the joys of Bushcraft and how to master the art of fire lighting outdoors in nature. Our fully qualified team will demonstrate natural survival technique and supervise as the kids work together to create their own fire.
Children will learn basic natural fire lighting techniques, have a go at crating their own fire safely, and work in teams to rustle up tasty treats that they then cook over a fire they have built themselves.
What if my child is under 5 or I have siblings of different ages?
This event is appropriate for children aged 6 – 11 years. Do not worry however we run our under 5’s Wildlings session at the same time in the same location. Click here to book your child on to the Wildling session
